The Graduate Institute of Medical Humanities (GIMH) is an interdisciplinary research center dedicated to critically engaging with a wide range of issues at the various interfaces between health and society. Our international research team conducts research spanning the fields of medical sociology, ecological medicine and community care, and science and technology studies both locally and globally.
The newly established Graduate Institute of Health and Biotechnology Law is an expression of Taipei Medical University (TMU)’s expanding commitment to interdisciplinary studies. Faculty research focuses on translational medicine legal policy, venture capital and intangible assets financing, pharmaceutical legal policy, public health law, biotechnology law, as well as food and drug regulation.
