Want to lose weight but can't find the motivation?
The health protection team will hold a weight loss competition, and the top three will receive bonuses!
There will also be prizes for participating in and completing the pre-test and post-tests!
Event information is as follows:
* Registration Period: From September 18 to September 22, from 9Aam to 12 pm
* Registration Location: Health Center, Health and Welfare Division.
On-site registration and pre-testing will be conducted at the following locations:
First floor of the Gymnasium at the Xinyi Campus
Health Center at the Shuang-Ho Campus
* Competition Period: From September 18 to November 17
* Participation Gift: Participants who complete the pre-test and post-test will receive a TMU cooling towel( with a vitality water bottle)
* Eligibility: All TMU faculty, staff, and students can register unless they meet any of the following conditions:
1. Underweight(BMI>=18.5)
2. Have heart disease or any medical condition that makes exercise unsuitable
3. Pregnant or women within 30 days postpartum
* Categories(Choose one):
1. Individual competition
2. Team competition: Teams consist of two participants (mixing genders s allowed), and participants cannot re-register or change team members during the competition
* Competition rules:
1. Participants must visit the Health and Welfare Division to measure their height, weight, waist circumference, body fat, and other health data during the designated pre-test and post-test times.
Pre-test (including registration): From September 18 to September 22, from 9am to 12pm
Post-rest: From November 20 to November 24 to from 9am to 12pm
2. Calculation of weight loss percentage: Calculate the weight loss percentage using the formula (Initial weight-Final weight)/Initial weight) *100%
3. After the competition ends, teams will be ranked based on their total weight loss percentage. The top three teams will receive competition prizes.
Note: Individual BMI must not fall below 18.5 in the post-test results; otherwise, the team will be disqualified. ★Competition Prizes
