Taipei Medical University DREAMERS Pharmaceutical Business Management Research Society, in collaboration with global pharmaceutical company Sanofi Taiwan, is jointly organizing a Business Proposal Competition, with the support of the College of Medical Science and Technology, Taipei Medical University.

This competition welcomes teams composed of undergraduate students, master’s and doctoral students, as well as recent graduates from colleges and universities across Taiwan.

Competition Overview

This competition focuses on four major Disease Awareness topics in the pharmaceutical industry. Participants will approach public health and disease awareness promotion from a real-world industry perspective, integrating medical, public health, and business strategy thinking to develop practical and feasible proposal solutions.

Outstanding teams will have the opportunity to engage directly with Sanofi industry managers and receive direct access to internship interviews.

Competition Topics

Participants will be assigned to one of the following topics based on their preference ranking and overall arrangement:

• Disease Awareness of Type 2 Inflammation Comorbidity
• Raising Public Awareness of Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
• Increase the Self-Pay Newborn Screening Selection Rate for LSDs (Pompe / Fabry / Gaucher / MPS)
• Infancy RSV Disease Awareness

Eligibility and Rules

Students from colleges and universities nationwide, including undergraduate, master’s, doctoral students, and recent graduates, are eligible to apply.

Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members. Cross-university and cross-disciplinary teams are highly encouraged.

No proposal submission is required during the registration stage.

• Registration Deadline: May 10, 2026, 17:00
• Topic Assignment Announcement: May 14, 2026
• Preliminary Proposal Submission Deadline: June 16, 2026

Awards and Benefits

This competition offers scholarships sponsored by the College of Medical Science and Technology, Taipei Medical University:

• First Prize: NT$10,000
• Second Prize: NT$6,000
• Third Prize: NT$4,000
• Fourth to Eighth Place: NT$1,000 each

In addition, the top three teams will receive:

• Coffee Chat opportunities with industry managers
• Direct access to internship interviews without going through the general screening process

All finalist teams will be invited to visit the Sanofi Taiwan office.

Each team member from teams that submit a preliminary proposal will receive an electronic Certificate of Participation.
